Swansea Out Of FAW Premier Cup

Tonight's defeat at Port Talbot means Swansea will not be defending the FAW Premier Cup for the 3rd consecutive year.

Former Swan Andrew Mumford scored the winner in extra time as the scores were level after 90 minutes.

Port Talbot Town: Kristian Rogers, Dylan Blain, Dyfan Pierce, Craig Hanford, Mathew Rees (capt), Lee Surman, Lee John, Dane Williams (Andrew Mumford 111), Chad Bond (Martin Rose 60), Dean Johnston, Scott Barrow (Richard French 67).

Subs: Nicky Jones, Tom Hopper.

Goal: French 74, Mumford 116.

Swansea City: Willy Gueret, Izzy Iriekpen, Steve Watt (Adebayo Akinfenwa 75), Marcos Painter, Kyle Graves, Alan Tate (cap), Ian Craney, Joe Allen (Rory Fallon 46), Tom Williams, Lee Trundle, Chris Jones (Thomas Butler 65).

Subs: James Burgin, Adebayo Akinfenwa, Richard Duffy.

Shocking shocking performance!! They treated the game as though it were a friendly!! Maybe they were forgetting the fact that a lot of Swans fans payed good money to watch them yesterday and half of them didn't have the decency to even try!! Certain indviduals thought the game would be easy...actually there were about 7 of the starting 11 who thought that!!
