Swansea Keen To Extend Painter Loan

Swansea City are hoping to keep Birmingham City loanee Marcos Painter until the end of the season.

His current deal expires after next week's game at home to Nottingham Forest but Kenny Jackett is hoping that Birmingham boss Steve Bruce will allow him to stay on until May.

With the current injury problems at the club, it would be a major boost for Jackett if he does as our only other left back is Tommy Williams who looks set to start in midfield for today's game at Bradford.

The 20 year-old has looked solid throughout his spell at the Liberty Stadium and hopefully he'll see the season out with us.

it is important to extend this loan.

More important to try and sign him imo, last thing we need is Birmingham taking him back with 5 or 6 games to go

I can't see him regaining a first team spot though with Tom Williams back and playing very well! Very good player but I wouldn't pay to much if he ain't gonna be starting!
