Tonight's Game Now OFF!

Despite CONFIRMING earlier today that tonight's FAW Premier Cup game at Port Talbot was ON, our official site has updated with news that it is OFF because of a waterlogged pitch.

We apologise for this but we simply reported news that was on our OFFICIAL website earlier today.

Here's our original article so that it doesn't go to waste...

Kenny Jackett will also meet up with former player Chad Bond. The 19 year-old striker was released last season as a series of injuries his development at the Liberty Stadium.

'When I left Swansea in the summer I had trials at Aldershot, Darlington and Shrewsbury,''

'Unfortunately I tore my knee cartilage during the trial game at Aldershot and had to undergo my third knee operation. The surgeon told me the knee problems were something I was born with and they would have gone at sometimes.

'But having had both knee cartilages done now, I'm really hoping that's my injury quota is completed.''

Bond has battled back to fitness with Port Talbot in the League of Wales and has already scored double figures in all competitions this season.

'I've really enjoyed it at Port Talbot, it's a great club,'' he added. 'The League of Wales is a tough standard and, while it can be quite physical, there is a lot of good football played.''

Bond is also amongst many other former Swans in the Port Talbot squad including Matthew Rees, Leigh DeVulgt, Lee Surman, Scott Barrow and Andrew Mumford.

Lee Trundle has also been cleared to play in tonight's game.

He is currently serving a 3-match ban but with the FAW Premier Cup being a standalone competition, Trundle is eligible to play.

Ian Craney also looks set to start after missing the big game at Sheffield on Saturday as he was cup tied.

Tickets can be bought on the day at the Remax Stadium. Prices are £10 for adults in the new stand, with no concessions. Adult tickets for the field are £8 and £5 for senior citizens and under-16s.

Game now on Monday night! Ticket prices massively raised from the normal £1 for under-16's! Also this is the only game where you are not allowed to use Port Talbot season tickets for this season so I'm guessing I'll have to fork out some money.
