Pratley Suffers Injury Setback

Kenny Jackett could be without captain Darren Pratley for several weeks after picking up an ankle injury during the Brentford game.

The list of sidelined players is increasing as Lee Trundle is banned for 2 more games.

Andy Robinson also picked up a knock in the brentford game and is a doubt for Saturday's FA Cup game at Sheffield United.

Meanwhile, Barnsley have decided not to make Leon Knight's loan move permanant and the striker will return to Swansea some time today.

Knight will be looking for a new club this month as Jackett has insisted there's no way back for the former Brighton man.

We have 2 go for a draw against sheffield nd bring them 2 our ground nd show them how 2 be loud nd pround of the mighty swans ............ Really gutted bou pratley he controls the midfield for us big blow
naythan_swan
i'd rather us concentrate on the league now, especially with all these injuries, suspensions propping up.

Is there something up with the clubs training facilities ? every year we seem to be hampered with numourous injury's, this one will hurt us badly

or the physio?

gutted like we really need him nd i think we shud be more intrested in the league than the cup we need 2 go up
naythan_swan
This is a loss for us without doubt lets hope he responds well to treatment.

o'leary can still do a job there, he certainly did during his short stay at cheltenham.

pratleys a big loss looked very promising against brentford till he was taken off

What a blow...if there is one player Jackett didn't want to lose it is him...he has something about him which is another step up in terms of quality! Our best player out which makes an upset less likely...as for concentrating on the league a good cup run can be a very nice distraction and great in terms of building confidence and attracting big crowds back to the Liberty!

Well at least Pratley will miss one less important league game with us playing in the cup next, Maybe Robbo shouldn't be rushed back either, giving him time to fully recover for the next league game which is much more important.
