86% Say We Need Replacement Striker

In a recent poll, 86% of you think we need to buy a replacement striker for Leon Knight in the January transfer window.

The remaining 14% say we don't need to sign a striker in January.

With Leon Knight's future over at Swansea, that leaves Kenny Jackett with two targetmen - Adebayo Akinfenwa and Rory Fallon and then the out and out goalscorers - Lee Trundle and youngster Chris Jones.

Without Trundle, Jackett has limited options up front and he opted to go with Akinfenwa and Craney for the match at Brighton on Tuesday night.

Trundle picked up an injury last weekend but he should be back to face Blackpool on Saturday.

It has to be said, we definately need a new striker in January I feel. Another injury to Trundle will seriously affect our chances of promotion as Akinfenwa and Fallon are not going to score regularly enough to get us the results we need to get into the top 2.

Our new poll asks whether you think we can cause an FA Cup upset and beat Premiership side Sheffield United in the 3rd round, vote now on the right hand side.
