Sheffield Utd In 3rd Round

Sheffield Utd In 3rd Round

Swansea face Premiership side Sheffield United in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

The match will be played on the weekend on 6/7th January.

Kenny Jackett said he was delighted to get through and wants a home tie in the next round: 'I'm delighted to come through,''

'Darlington is a difficult place to come. They are on a good run, under a new manager, and the pitch was heavy.

'But we turned in a good, battling performance in difficult circumstances. Apart from the injuries we had, a lot of the squad were hit by illness overnight.

'The third round is where we wanted to be and it will be fantastic for the club if we get a big club at home. The Liberty Stadium hasn't staged a big cup tie yet, so this could be it.''
