Jenkins: No Idea When Knight Will Go

Chairman Huw Jenkins says he has no idea when Leon Knight will leave Swansea City because there has been no fresh interest in the striker.

Manager Kenny Jackett transfer-listed our top scorer last month because of a 'lack of effort'. He has turned down the chance to move to Northampton and Peterborough while Southend and Barnsley have ruled themselves out of signing the striker.

Southend boss Steve Tilson ruled out a possible move for our top scorer because he didn't want the risk of him upsetting his team spirit.

Jenkins said: 'There have been a few clubs linked with Leon but I've no idea when he will actually leave,'

'Of course, the ideal scenario would be to sell him in January but nothing has materialised so far so we'll just have to wait and see what happens in the next few weeks.'

I hope he goes in Jan otherwise we're stuck with a player that's never going to play. I'll be surprised if we don't get some decent bids in for him in the transfer-window.
