Fallon In Team Of The Week

Fallon In Team Of The Week

Striker Rory Fallon has made League One's team of the week after scoring a brace in Friday's 4-2 win over Bournemouth.

I'm quite surprised by that in all honesty because apart from his two goals, 1 of them that probably belongs to Williams, he had an average game, just like every other player out there on Friday night.

The Kiwi striker headed Trundle's cross to make it 2-0 before Williams' cross lobbed the keeper and looked to have crossed the line before Rory got the final touch.

Team of the Week: Cutler (Rotherham), Whing (Brighton), Aranalde (Carlisle), Mackie (Leyton Orient), Crosby (Scunthorpe), Shuker (Tranmere), Commons (N Forest), Clingan (N Forest), Hoolahan (Blackpool), Fallon (Swansea).

maybe they were a bit short this week... not being unkind to the lad in any way....sometimes it is a fine line between who gets chosen... maybe the fact he scored two and not just one swung it in his favour....maybe it will spur him on to greater success in th ecoming weeks though...a little recognition is just the ticket sometimes....
