92% of Fans Want 3 New Signings or More

According to a recent Vital Swansea poll, 92% of our readers want to see at least 3 new signings this Summer.

50% of all voters want to see 3 or 4 new players, with 42% wanting 5 or more. Only 8% voted that they didn't want to see any new players arrive before the Summer transfer window shuts at the end of August.

So far, manager Garry Monk has signed 4 players, while 8 have left - and that's not including the expected departures of goalkeeper Michel Vorm and left back Ben Davies.

With the likelihood of two more players leaving this week - making the squad 6 less than it was when the season ended, then there is a need to bring in 3-4 players - which Monk has previously stated that's what he wants to do.

With Michu and Hernandez both leaving, the Swans will be targeting a winger and an attacking midfielder. Ecuador international Jefferson Montero has been strongly linked with a move, while Sigurddson could also return as he may be involved in a 3-player deal involving Davies and Vorm signing for Spurs.

It'll be tough to bring in 4 or 5 players that will be good enough to improve us - first team players. But that's what's needed as we're relying too much on youngsters - while other senior players lack any pace - especially in defence - Williams and Rangel. really need to get sigurdsson back to get goals from midfield, de Guzman too.
