FA Cup First Round Venue Confirmed

FA Cup First Round Venue Confirmed

After much discussion between the two clubs, council and police, the FA Cup first round tie away at Newport will be played at Newport Stadium.

There were doubts that the game would be played at Newport's home ground because of its small capacity.

Swansea City had offered to play the game at the Liberty Stadium but it's now been confirmed that the tie will be played on Saturday 11th November, kicking off at 1pm at Newport's 4,300 capacity ground.

The match will be all-ticket and more details will follow once confirmed.
