Laudrup: Spurs Are Beatable

Laudrup: Spurs Are Beatable

Swansea City Michael Laudrup is upbeat ahead of Sunday's important League match at home against Spurs.

Despite barely being able to put an 18-man matchday squad together because of the ever-growing injury list at the Liberty Stadium, Laudrup believes Spurs are 'beatable' and that his side can get that win they so desperately need to end their poor run of form.

'We need a win. I can't complain about the performances or attitude. We have had the chances to win, but we just haven't taken them.

'We have to keep doing what we are doing but focus on winning games. The game on Sunday isn't against a direct opponent, but it is at home. And no disrespect to Spurs, but I believe they are beatable and we can win this game.

'I've watched all of their games, apart from the game against Palace, and I think they have been doing well. They have changed a bit tactically, playing with two forwards since bringing [Emmanuel] Adebayor in from the cold, and it has had a huge impact on their results.'

The match is live on Sky Sports, kicking off at 1:30pm on Sunday 19th January 2014.

I don't remember us having too many chances to win the last few games. That is our problem, not enough chances created. I wish we could see a more attacking style with the team pushing up at least 20 yards. We are too concerned about conceding that we forget about pushing forward as a team.
