Laudrup: I Wouldn't Leave Mid-Way Through Season

Swansea City manager insists he would never leave a club mid-way through a season, following speculation linking him with the vacant manager's job at Tottenham Hotspur.

Laudrup was one of the early favourites along with Glenn Hoddle amongst the bookmakers to replace Andre Villas-Boas, but both himself and his agent have distanced themselves away from a possible move.

Laudrup confirmed:

'It's always flattering when others are talking about you,'

'Tottenham are a big club, but the only thing I will say is I would never leave a club in the middle of the season.

'I've never done that as a player and a manager and it won't happen in the future either.'

The Swans boss has openly admitted that he doesn't like to stay at one club for too long which makes supporters wonder how many more seasons he'll have at the Liberty Stadium.

Chairman Huw Jenkins will be hoping that he'll stay on for at least his third season at the club next year, having signed a contract earlier in 2013, keeping him in South Wales potentially until 2015.
