Welcome Back!

Welcome back to the Vital Swansea website!

The network experienced some downtime recently after technical problems with the servers but we're back up and running again!

We'll bring you a set of articles to keep you up to date with the news we've missed over the last few days.

In the meantime, the forum is active again for you to discuss the latest news that's happening with the Swans.

In summary, 17 year-old Chris Jones has earned himself a professional contract with the Swans after turning down offers from Premiership clubs, while Akinfenwa is set to be sidelined for up to 3 weeks with a stress fracture to his shin. We got back to winning ways this Saturday with a good 3-2 win away at Chesterfield, which takes us to 8th in the table.

There was a surprise decision made by Jackett as top scorer Leon Knight was left out of the whole 16-man squad.

Vital Swansea understand that although Kenny Jackett has denied these claims, the striker had recently had a dressing room bust-up with a fellow team-mate following the 0-0 draw at home to Tranmere.

Full articles on these stories will follow tonight.

The photograph of the players at the top of the page will have to be changed again. Current Captain Darren Pratley has to be included.
