Kenny Jackett says his Swansea City WILL come good after yet another frustrating performance last night as we drew 0-0 at home against Tranmere Rovers.
But haven't we heard it all before already this season Kenny?
How long can we afford to wait before we start finally injecting some consistency into our play.
After narrowly missing out on promotion to the Championship in May, our priority and aim this season was to gain promotion, and to go up through the automatic places.
Despite us being only 4 points adrift of 2nd placed Tranmere, that aim of achieving automatic promotion looks a long way off as there 8 more matches to be played in League One today.
Jackett's post match interview comments are just becoming predictable and pointless.
Every week after a poor performance, he says we'll improve and there were ''some good points to come out of the game'' but realistically, we are poor and are not showing any signs of these improvements that we drastically need.
Jackett was looking for a ''big'' performance last night after the 3-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest, but he didn't get it.
He said: 'The top players get criticised for various things but because of their professional mentality, they produce quality in the end.
'We spent most of last season in the top places and you have to move forward as a club every year.
'You need to improve and we are in mid-table this season. That's why there's some frustration around the club but the players need to develop a siege mentality to work through this.
'We are below where we were last season at the moment, but what I would say is that the division is wide open and I think it will stay that way.
'It is not a question of if Swansea City will come good, it's a question of when they will and, if we can get some consistency going, we will take some stopping.'
So when will we come good? As time is ticking and this is costing our season as teams like Forest, Bristol City and Yeovil are flying high at the top of the table.
The fans also pointed out after last night's game that both Leon Britton and Leon Knight showed their frustration at being subbed when walking towards the tunnel. Something we haven't seen from Britton in the three years he's been at the club.
Jackett explained his decision to replace Britton for MacDonald and said: 'He was creating very well, but I felt Shaun MacDonald may be able to get in at the far post for a header. Tom Williams was breaking very well down the left and I felt Shaun may be able to get on the end of one of his crosses.'
Time is ticking Jackett and you need to rapidly get us improving, start getting better results and provide entertaining performances for the fans as week by week, they are losing hope that you're the man to take us into the Championship.
