Laudrup Pleased With A Point vs Manchester City
Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup said he was pleased with a point at home against Manchester City.
Both teams had chances to score and win the game but they lacked a cutting edge in front of goal, and a draw was probably a fair result all round.
Laudrup was pleased with a point, and he now hopes his team can get 1 more win which should guarantee a top ten finish:
"We have to be pleased with a point,"
"We played some very good football in the first half, but if you don`t score in your good moments there is a danger that the opposition could punish you.
"But in the end I`m pleased with a draw and we stay ninth with a game in hand. One more win should now see us finish in the top half and that would be a fantastic achievement."
Looking ahead to the next game away at Wigan Athletic on Tuesday night, Laudrup added:
"I don`t think they will be down if we beat them,"
"Everyone could still go down and we`ll see what happens.
"It will be a hard game for us. I know they have the cup final coming up, but their Premier League life is to play for.
"They will come with all they have and I`ll put out a good team because we all want to win."
