Michu: Improvement Needed In Front of Goal

Swansea City's top goalscorer Michu insists the team need to improve in front of goal having not scored in 4 of the last 5 games.

The Spaniard will also be hoping to personally improve as he is also experiencing a poor run of form, failing to score in the previous 6 League games.

Laudrup's side failed to score on Saturday, losing 1-0 at West Ham United, and they also couldn't find the net away at Sunderland last Tuesday.

Michu shared his reaction to the weekend's defeat, their first in 8 games:

'It is always disappointing to lose. It wasn't a good game for us,'

'West Ham play a lot of long balls and we had to face many corners and free-kicks. It was a very difficult for us.

'It was a frustrating day. We had a couple of chances, but we could not score. They scored and that was the difference. I'm not very happy.

'To lose ends a good run of performances and results for us.

'But it is just one defeat.

'We have 34 points and that is good for us. We now need to win against QPR.'

Michu added that they need to be more clinical in front of goal:

'We are only thinking about QPR, not the cup final. That is too far away,'

'We have tough games coming up. We have QPR, we have Anfield and Liverpool and then the final. The gap is too big.

'We will be looking for a better performance and result the next time we come to London.

'We will need to improve and convert our chances. We haven't scored in the last couple of games and we need to improve in front of goal.'
