Swansea City - 1 Out, 0 In As Graham Could Leave
Swansea City may lose striker Danny Graham before the end of the transfer window as sources say he wishes to leave the club.
Much has been said this month about Danny Graham's future at the Liberty Stadium being in doubt, with a number of Premier League clubs showing an interest in the 27 year-old. Sunderland remain favourites, as speculation suggests that the player wants to return home to the North East of England.
Other clubs linked with Graham this month include Norwich City, QPR, Aston Villa and Stoke City.
Despite the likes of Sky Sports News reporting on Monday evening that the player wants to leave and could possibly join Sunderland, he hasn't requested a transfer and both chairman Huw Jenkins and manager Michael Laudrup have played down the recent rumours.
Jenkins told BBC Sport:
'At the moment there is no substance to this whatsoever,'
Laudrup added further:
'If he comes and says he wants to leave and there's a very good offer we'll have to look into it.
'It could easily happen that we have exactly the same squad in February as we have now.'
If the Swans did lose Danny Graham, then it would be a big blow to the side as they are very unlikely to sign a replacement before Thursday's 11pm deadline. Not only that, but he has been in good goalscoring form lately, netting 4 goals since the end of December.
