Laudrup Admits Arsenal Deserved To Win

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup admitted Arsenal deserved to win tonight's FA Cup 3rd round replay tie, as their attacking pressure finally paid off with a goal scored with 5 minutes to go.

Danny Graham forced the tie to a replay 10 days ago when he netted to make it 2-2.

Laudrup was correct once again in his assessment of the game, as Arsenal pushed and pushed for an opening goal. They had numerous chances, had at least three efforts blocked off the line as well as wasting others.

'The first half was very even, they had a bit more of the ball but we were at the same level.

'In the second half they were the better team, they deserved the win and good luck in the competition.

'They created chances and pushed us back, we defended great but we couldn't get out of there.

'It was nice to see Michel Vorm back at his best and we blocked a couple of big chances.

'They had one or two where you say 'How did they miss that?', and then they scored with a few minutes left.

'Last time it was us, this time it was them.'

Can't help but smile at the class of Laudrup and his team. You've given us a torrid time recently so it was nice to get a win for a change.

You hammered us second half, Rocky, Wilshere was brilliant.......hang on to him if you can. Good Luck in the Tournament.
