Laudrup Confident Michu OK After Reading Draw

Laudrup Confident Michu OK After Reading Draw

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup sounds confident that Michu hasn't suffered any serious injury after limping off during today's game at Reading.

An opposition player caught the Spaniard in an off-the-ball incident, but there didn't look to be enough contact to cause anything serious.

Laudrup expects there's no ligament damage, just swelling and bruising to his ankle:

'I talked to the doctor and physio after the game and they said that Michu's ligaments should be ok,'

'That's the most important thing. We'll see how many days he'll have to rest.'

It would be a big blow if the Spaniard was to miss the trip to Fulham on Saturday, as he is our main goalscoring threat, having netted 13 Premier League goals this season.
