Capital One Cup Semi-Final Draw: Chelsea (a)

Swansea City will travel to Chelsea for the Capital One Cup Semi-Final First leg.

The draw was made this evening following Chelsea's big 5-1 win to knock out Leeds United at Elland Road.

The Swans got through to the semi-final of the League Cup for the first time in their history thanks to a narrow 1-0 home win against Championship outfit Middlesbrough.

In the other semi-final tie, Bradford face Premier League side Aston Villa.

1st leg to be played on week commencing 7th January, with the second leg to be played two weeks later on the week commencing 21st January.

Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez shared his reaction to the draw and facing the Swans in the next round:

"Swansea are a good team and we have to do well in a semi-final of any competition. They like to play football, on the floor and it will be interesting."
