Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup expects his team to improve in the second half of the season as his new players continue to adjust to their new surroundings.
The Danish legend says he is pleased with the way his side is playing so far, but expects them to get even better following a solid start to the campaign.
Considering the changes that have happened, the new players in the squad - not to mention the existing players adjusting to a new manager and his adjusted tactics, the Swans have certainly made a promising start to the season.
Laudrup told the Evening Post that he believes his team will continue to get better over the course of the season:
'It's too early to talk about positions in the table — I think we can only really do that with eight or ten games of the season to go,'
'But I am really satisfied with the team and the way we have played so far.
'When you look at it, in most of the games we have played, at least 50 per cent of the outfield players have been new players.
'We have had Chico Flores, Jonathan de Guzman, Ki Sung-Yueng, Pablo Hernandez, Michu and Ben Davies. That's six, and it's not easy when you are playing with so many new players.
'Not only that, but a lot of them are getting used to a new football culture and a new country, not just a new team.
'And because of that, I think we will do better in the second half of the season than the first.
'I am looking to get a good number of points in the first half of the season, and in the second I am sure we will do better because the players will know each other better.'
Michael Laudrup has also stated that he'll look to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window to help boost them for the second half of the season.
