Swansea City goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel says he's expecting a busy game away at Southampton on Saturday.
The German, currently playing in place of the injured Michel Vorm, believes he'll be busy dealing with crosses and the like due to the big threat of Saints striker Rickie Lambert.
Their main frontman will be key to their survival hopes this year as he has already proven he can score goals at this level, with 4 in 10 games so far.
Swansea manager Michael Laudrup recently said that games against the likes of Southampton are far more important than those against Chelsea, as they need to keep a good distance from their relegation rivals.
Tremmel echoed those thoughts to the Official Site:
"We have grown in confidence in the last few games, and that will help us for a very difficult away game at Southampton,"
"We are playing a very attractive style, and I think the supporters are enjoying it. But we have to get the result.
"It is a big thing for the fans to get points against the bigger teams, but it is so important that we keep teams like Southampton, for example, behind us.
"We have to be patient on Saturday. I saw their game at West Brom on Monday. They are dangerous going forward, and in (Rickie) Lambert they have a good striker.
"I expect them to try and put a lot of crosses in and we have to focused at all times."
Tremmel also added that number 1 goalkeeper Michel Vorm has also helped to encourage, and he's targeting a clean sheet this weekend:
"Michel has been brilliant with me. After each game he has told me he was impressed with my performance.
"It`s really difficult when you are not playing week-in, week-out. It`s quite stressful when you come into the big games and haven`t played much before it.
"But I`m in a routine now and I`m growing in confidence. Hopefully we can get a clean sheet at Southampton on Saturday."
