Laudrup: Win At Man City Is Possible

Laudrup: Win At Man City Is Possible

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup says a win at Manchester City this evening is possible, despite the world class talent they have in their squad.

Roberto Mancini may have the likes of Pablo Zabaleta, Maicon, Javi Garcia, Jack Rodwell, James Milner and Silva out, but he has still has plenty of quality available to him.

Laudrup will be looking for his side to replicate what Ajax did in midweek, as they came back from a goal down to beat the Premier League title holders 2-1.

"They can change everything. They could play with Dzeko and Aguero, or Tevez and Ballotelli.

"Scott could come in and the only one we can say for sure will not play is Milner because he is suspended.

"When you see the starting 11 for Man City and the players they have on the bench it looks difficult, but if you look at Ajax they have a very young side who went there with respect but no fear.

"They deserved to win. I know we will be playing away and the Ajax game has probably made things much more difficult for us, I can imagine the 11 will be very motivated to show the crowd that they can still win games.

"We know what we can do with the ball, obviously we have respect for what they can do with the ball - but it`s important our possession game is working.

"Sometimes you are taking risks by trying to keep the ball in your own half and trying to play it out from the back, but it is possible to win there."
