64% Agreed With McLeod Decision

In our recent poll, 64% of you agreed with Kenny Jackett's decision to let McLeod leave to join Colchester.

It was hardly a surprise really as the left winger has clearly shown that he's not willing to put in 100% effort and commitment when he's playing.

He has the potential and the ability to play well at Championship level (where he's at now) but his drinking habits and other interests affected his Swansea career in a big way, and it'll be interesting to see if the same thing happens at his new club.

Jackett said the reasons for him leaving was because he'd have limited first team opportunities as more players return from injury.

That was so obviously hiding the real reason as there was no left wingers injured at the time, and McLeod can play no other position that on the left wing.

He first went on the transfer list back in March as his performances were severely lacking. Surprisingly, after missing out on the chance to join Southend, Kenny Jackett gave him another chance and unluckily he suffered an ankle injury towards the end of the season.

There was more controversy regarding McLeod and his off-the-field antics with rumours suggesting he had a fight with another team-mate.

He went back on the transfer list sometime during pre-season and it was only a matter of time then that he going.

Our new poll basically asks you whether Kenny Jackett should stay or go.

Do you support the manager who brought the club promotion, 2 cups and nearly promotion to the Championship? Or are you getting impatient with our slow and poor start to the season?
