Is Moore Closer To First Team Chance?

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has hinted that Luke Moore could be closer to a first team start as he considers what changes he can make to improve his side's performance.

The Swans boss told the Evening Post that he has been looking to see where his team can improve, and soon followed by saying that Luke Moore has played well when he has come on as a substitute.

Laudrup expected big things from current first choice striker Danny Graham this season, but so far he has struggled to make much of an impact in the Premier League.

Despite only scoring in the Cup so far, Luke Moore has created a lot chances for himself in the little League time he has had on the pitch, and Laudrup could possibly start him soon.

'There are things I am looking at to see where we can improve,'

'I am always thinking about how we can do better in the next game, and I have some thoughts about what we may have to do this weekend.

'Luke did well when he came on against Reading.

'He could have scored after one minute, he made some good movements and he is a good finisher inside the box.'

Danny Graham may well start at home against Wigan Athletic on Saturday, but if he fails to perform again, he could find himself on the bench very soon. Laudrup added:

'Danny started the season very well and in pre-season he was fantastic,'

'He played a great game against QPR and he carried that on against West Ham and Sunderland.

'It's true that after that he has not had so many chances — he has just been half a yard away a few times.

'But he wants to come back to his best and he is working very hard to do that. We have given him some extra work to do and of course I would like to see him back to his best.

'We are all trying to get Danny back there because we need him.'
