August Goal Of The Month Results

Recently we introduced a new Goal of the Month video and vote feature thanks to site member couchpotatoe.

As it stands for August's Goal of the Month, we have had 19 votes in our forum poll as well as 253 views on youtube.

Fallon's headed goal at Scunthorpe is the front runner with 11 votes.

Next is Darren Pratley's 20 yard volley against Wycombe in the Carling Cup with 3 votes.

Leon Knight's goal at Leyton Orient got 2 votes while the other 3 goals got 1.

The poll is forever on-going so it's never too late to vote if you haven't already done so.

To vote, simply click here

Or you can watch the video below:

With 6 games to be played in September, hopefully there'll be another large selection of goals to choose from!

vote fallon .lol great idea come on vote peeps
sbrjack
I think the vote should end eventually so we then have a winner. Also we could even present the winner with a trophy (or print a certificate which would be cheaper) and present it to them before a match down the Liberty. Not on the pitch like but when they make their way to the stadium before the match. Hows that for site promotion. Players will be fighting over the swanseacityafc.co.uk GOTM trophy
couchpotatoe
hehe that would be cool Couch well a cheep but very good looking cert may be the way to go may give the player a little bit of a moral boost too.
sbrjack
Excellent idea fellas.

Yes I suppose it'll have to end at some point but we haven't really got that many votes in yet so I'll have to keep it open.

To be honest sbrjack I dont plan on spending any money for the award because I'm cheap! But mainly I'm just thinking of promoting the site. Might even contact the Evening Post and tell them. See if I can get this site put in the paper
couchpotatoe
Yeah that would be a better idea I think cp. I don't think it'll be much good saying "Congratulations to Rory Fallon...bla bla who wins with 12 votes!" Let me know if / when you contact them.
