Tate Wins Man of the Match Poll vs Aston Villa

Vital Swansea readers have voted Alan Tate as their man of the match in last Saturday's 2-0 defeat away at Aston Villa.

Michael Laudrup's Swansea City side suffered their first loss of the season, whilst Villa got their first victory.

Tate made his first start of the season alongside Ashley Williams at centre back as he replaced Chico Flores, who serves a three-match ban.

Tate received a majority 40% of the vote, with young defender Ben Davies - also making his first start, received 23%.

Goalkeeper Michel Vorm followed in third with 13%.

In our new poll, we ask you where you think we'll finish this season, based on our impressive start in the Premier League. Can the Swans maintain their good form, or will consolidating last season's mid-table place be a more realistic target?
