Allardyce Impressed With Swansea City's Finishing
West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce said he was most impressed with Swansea City's finishing in last Saturday's 5-0 win at QPR.
MIchael Laudrup side watched his debut get off to a flyer as his side needed just 12 shots on target to net a fantastic five goals.
Michu fired in an early opener, as goalkeeper Rob Green flopped at the low show, before he scored a second 8 minutes after the restart, with a fantastic curling effort from 18 yards. Dyer added a brace himself before Scott Sinclair fired in a late fifth.
Having watched Swansea's emphatic victory, he expects a 'tough, tough match' at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, he said:
'What impressed me most was the quality of the finishing,'
'Apart from the first goal - Robert (Green, QPR goalkeeper) knows he should have stopped it - the others were all quality goals. That should thrill Michael.
'To finish with that quality means you've got goals in your team and we've got to nullify that on Saturday, and not allow those spaces to occur for those players to have those chances.'
Allardyce also hopes the Swans suffer from over-confidence following their big win, but he doubts it, adding:
'I don't know (if they will suffer from over-confidence), I hope so because if there is we may be able to take advantage of that. But somehow I don't think there will be.
'Everybody found it a hugely difficult task to beat them at their ground. On the back of them trying to continue that, and their magnificent result against QPR, it will be a tough, tough match.'
