Laudrup: West Ham Will Be Difficult Opponents

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup is looking for his side to pick up from where they left off this weekend following last Saturday's 5-0 win at QPR.

Saturday's win last week sees Swansea City currently sitting in 2nd place in the Premier League table after one game, but it won't mean much if they lose against the Hammers this weekend.

The Swans have two home games coming up, beginning this Saturday as Premier League newcomers West Ham United visit the Liberty Stadium.

Laudrup expects Sam Allardyce's side to be difficult opponents:

"Last Saturday was great and it was pleasing to score five goals away from home on the first day of the season,"

"But our next game is now just 48 hours away and it`s a very important one.

"We now have two home games in a row and it`s crucial that we do well at the Liberty because that is where the majority of our points will come from this season.

"West Ham will be a difficult opponent. They did well last season to come back up to the Premier League and they have an experienced manager in Sam Allardyce.

"They had a good win last weekend, but we will be looking to pick up from where we left off against QPR."

Saturday's match kicks off at the earlier time of 12.45pm as it's being shown live on Sky Sports.
