Michu: Swansea Debut Went Like A Dream

Swansea City's new £2m attacking midfielder Michu said his debut for the club went how he 'dreamt it would be' as he scored two goals in an incredible 5-0 away win at QPR.

The bargain buy from Rayo Valecano now says he can't wait for his first home League game on Saturday as the Swans host West Ham United in front of a sellout home Liberty Stadium crowd.

Michu said:

"My debut in the Premier League was incredible,"

'I never believed I would score two goals in a big victory for Swansea. I am very happy and looking forward to my first home match.

"It`s not easy to score goals in England and to get two in 50 minutes was sensational. This is the way I dreamt it would be in this adventure.

Michu also promises the fans he'll give his best for the club in every single match:

"I just want to stay focused from match to match now. It will be hard to score two goals in every game but I promise the fans I will give my best in every game.

"The coach congratulated us after the 5-0 win and it was a dream start to the season."

"The English style is different to Spain due to the importance on physicality in England,"

"But that does not bother me because I am used to being in combat with opposition defenders because that is my game."

Michu was the highest goalscoring midfielder in La Liga last season, and already he's looking in confident mood after his first ever Premier League match last Saturday.
