McLeod Joins Colchester

Winger Kevin McLeod has now completed his move to Colchester United on a free transfer.

The Championship club have agreed to take over his contract he had with the Swans and really, it was only a matter of time until the former Everton and QPR midfielder moved on.

Controversy and incidents off the pitch saw him fall out of favour with manager Kenny Jackett as he went on the transfer list in March as his ''application didn't match his ability.''

It was thought he went back on the list again sometime in the Summer for further incidents, despite Jackett giving him a second chance.

On his day, he can definately prove he's one of the best players at the club and hopefully he'll learn from his mistakes when he joins his new club, otherwise he could well risk throwing his career away.

He had his 2nd chance and didnt take it. Right choice by KJ in letting him go. A quality player with the wronhg attitude would do more harm than good.

Whatever problems/bad influences dogged your career in Swansea, I hope they do not follow you to Colchester. Good Luck Kevin.

Boy oh boy Colchester have come a long way signing your players now! Yet still they can't get crowds over 4,500!

Forbes, Martinez and now McLeod. Is Jackett overhauling the Swans?
