Swansea City Boss Leaves USA Tour 'Pleased'

Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup says he leaves the USA pleased after watching his side draw their final match 2-2 against San Jose Earthquakes.

Danny Graham and new signing Chico scored either side of half time to give the Swans a 2-0 goal lead, but San Jose came back in the final ten minutes to claim a draw.

Laudrup was happy with his side's performance in the opening hour or so, but admitted they switched off towards to allow their opponents back in the game.

Talking about the 2-2 draw to the Official site, Laudrup said:

"I thought we did well for the first 60 to 65 minutes,``

'We scored two good goals and could have had a couple more.

"But for the last 25 minutes we forgot to play; we forgot the ball and gave it away too soon.

"When you play 21 players over 90 minutes a lot of changes can sometimes create a lot of difficulties for your team, especially against a good side like San Jose who are top of the table for a reason.

With a win, draw and defeat in the three games, lus the opportunity for Laudrup to see almost all of his players in action, the Swans boss said he was pleased overall with what he saw:

"Overall though I`m pleased; I`m going away pleased. It was very useful for me to see what I did tonight.

"I said before the tour that I wanted to see everyone over the three games. Everyone got their chance and we have got much better every day we`ve been out here.

"Now we return to Swansea to face two competitive games against Blackpool and Stuttgart a week before we start the Premier League.``
