Swansea City End USA Tour With 2-2 Draw

Swansea City ended their USA Summer Tour with a 2-2 draw against San Jose Earthquakes.

Michael Laudrup's side were 2-0 up but two quick late goals from the hosts saw them deny the Welsh side their second win during their time in America.

Defender Chico got his first goal for his new club, following his Summer move from Genoa with striker Danny Graham grabbing the other goal.

Substitute Lenhart came on as the home side's super sub with two goals in 5 minutes. He fired his first past Vorm on 80 minutes before a header moments later to see the game end 2-2.

That result means the Swans had a win, draw and defeat in their 3-match Tour. They'll now head back to South Wales to host two friendlies at the Liberty Stadium before the season starts on August 18th. They'll entertain Blackpool on Tuesday 7th August (7pm) before German side Stuttgart visit on Saturday 11th August (3pm).

The two upcoming home friendlies will give the Swansea fans more of an insight to how the team are shaping up ahead of the new campaign and what starting eleven we can maybe expect Laudrup to field when we travel to QPR.

Swansea: Michel Vorm, Angel Rangel (Jazz Richards, ht), Chico (Garry Monk, 75), Ashley Williams (Alan Tate, 62), Ben Davies (Fede Bessone, 80), Leon Britton (Kemy Agustien, 62), Jonathan de Guzman (Mark Gower, 75), Michu (Andrea Orlandi, 80), Wayne Routledge (Nathan Dyer, ht), Luke Moore (Stephen Dobbie, 62), Danny Graham (Leroy Lita, 75).

Unused subs: Gerhard Tremmel, Gwion Edwards.
