Sinclair Scores For Team GB In Olympic Games

Scott Sinclair has scored in this evening's Team GB match against United Arab Emirates at Old Trafford.

The British team, that also includes fellow Swans Joe Allen and Neil Taylor, look to improve on their opening Games match - a disappointing 1-1 draw against Senegal.

Scott Sinclair came off the bench and took advantage of the goalkeeper's failure to deal with Craig Bellamy's cross from the right. He was there to easily slot the ball into an empty net to put his side 2-1 in front.

Sinclair's former Chelsea teammate Daniel Sturridge scored minutes later to boost their advantage to 3-1.

Joe Allen started his second consecutive game despite an injury scare in the draw against Senegal.

Team GB face Uruguay in their third and final group stage match.
