Michu Set To Complete Medical & Sign 3 Year Deal

Michu Set To Complete Medical & Sign 3 Year Deal

Reports in Spain say that Rayo Vallecano midfielder Michu is set to complete a medical and sign a three-year contract at Swansea City.

The Swans could unveil their third Summer signing as early as next week as they close in on the talented Spaniard.

The reports from Spain are now being echoed by sources in this country as Sky Sports 'understands' that the 26 year-old will undergo a medical at the Liberty Stadium before putting pen to paper.

The Swans had permission to speak with the goal scoring midfielder after having a small bid, thought to be around £1.5m, accepted by his La Liga club.

Michu was being watched by Manchester United last season, and if the reports are true, then the Swans could pull off the signing and bargain of the Summer, capturing last year's highest goal scoring midfielder in the top Spanish division.

Michael Laudrup will be absolutely delighted if he manages to complete the deal at such a small price as Rayo Vallecano are forced to sell their best players due to their financial problems.
