Could Sinclair Be On His Way Out of Swansea?

The speculation continues to suggest that Scott Sinclair's lack of interest in a new Swansea City contract could see leave him in the near future.

The winger has put new contract talks on hold twice this Summer. Firstly, because manager Brendan Rodgers left to join Liverpool and secondly because he is now concentrating on his Olympics spell for the GB team that begins next week.

Both are fair reasons to put contract talks on hold for now, but if reports in Denmark are anything to go by, then there's more to this that what the likes of chairman Huw Jenkins and the player himself are saying to the media.

Apparently, new boss Michael Laudrup is not too happy with Sinclair's lack of interest in signing a new deal, as his current one expires next Summer. It looks like he wants to keep his options open and see if he gets any other offers elsewhere.

A few of Swansea City's managers in recent years have said that they only want players who want to play for the club, and it would be no surprise if Sinclair had at least one eye of a possible move to another Premier League club.

Inevitably, Brendan Rodgers has been linked with a move for Scott Sinclair as well as Joe Allen. Sinclair was also linked with a few clubs during last season despite struggling to show the same form that helped the Swans win promotion from the Championship in 2010/2011.

Should the Swans look to cash in on Scott Sinclair or should we do all we can to keep hold of the first team winger? Have your say on the forum here

Amen to that but let us give him the benefit of doubt. If he doesn't sign on the dotted line by end of August, sell him.
