Laudrup Very Keen To Manage In Premier League
Michael Laudrup told BBC 5 Live reporter Ian Dennis last month that he is very keen to manage in the Premier League.
The Danish legend is currently looking for a new job after resigning from his position at RCD Mallorca last year.
The 47 year-old was yesterday's new favourite to take over at the Liberty Stadium and today he remains odds on to replace Brendan Rodgers.
While we cannot confirm whether or not Laudrup is interested in a move to South Wales, what we do know is that he is interested in a job in the Premier League - and Swansea City looks like being the only top flight club looking for a manager, as Norwich City are set to appoint Chris Hughton while West Brom are moving closer to appointing Steve Clarke.
Laudrup, regarded as one of the best footballers of the 90's, hasn't been contacted by Swansea City according to his agent, but could Huw Jenkins line up a move for him after his European holiday?
The speculation continues, but the former Barcelona player seems a more realistic and potential target compared to other names that are being mentioned.
Graeme Jones looks like he is staying at Wigan Athletic while Ian Holloway is becoming increasingly unlikely to leave Blackpool to join the Swans.
