Jones Out Of The Running For Swansea City Job?

Rumours suggest that Wigan Athletic assistant manager Graeme Jones is no longer in the running for the Swansea City manager's job.

The 42 year-old emerged as the clear favourite on Thursday as some bookmakers even suspended the betting on him, whilst others had him at 10/1 ON to replace Brendan Rodgers at the Liberty Stadium.

According to rumours, and it is just rumours for now, Jones has rejected the chance to take his first full management role, opting to stay as Roberto Martinez's assistant at the DW Stadium.

With those rumours circulating, Jones remains the bookies favourite but his odds have now dropped significantly, from 10/1 ON to odds ranging from 2/1 to 5/4. Gus Poyet is second favourite at 4/1 with Ian Holloway and Michael Laudrup just behind.

"just please don't go for G.Jones, Poyet would be my choice"
