Rangel Would 'Consider' Wales Call-Up

Swansea City right back Angel Rangel said he would consider a call up to the Wales squad.

The Spaniard will be able to play for Wales now, having lived in the country for at least five years.

According to some sources, it's believed that manager Chris Coleman is monitoring his situation and is considering calling him up to his squad.

Talking about a possible call up, Rangel said:

'If the opportunity comes with Wales, I will consider it,'

'I'm not playing for any national team at the moment so any option would be considered.

'Spain are one of the best teams in the world they won the World Cup so it would be difficult to get into that national team.

'You have to play for Barcelona or Real Madrid or a top team like that to play for Spain, so it could be an outside possibility but I know it's far, far away.

'I know it would be difficult to get into the Welsh side as well, but any option will be considered.'
