Lawrence Suffers Injury In Cup

New signing Dennis Lawrence is set to spend a few weeks on the sidelines after picking up a groin injury during last night's Carling Cup exit against Wycombe.

Jackett said after the game: 'Early indications seem to be that he'll be out for a few weeks,''

'But hopefully it won't be too long.''

While Doncaster boss Dave Penney blamed his side's overconfidence for his defeat against us last Saturday, Jackett said his side are lacking confidence after yet another poor performance last night resulted in our 6th consecutive Carling Cup first round exit.

He added: 'We did well to battle back from 2-0 down to force extra-time,''

'but there's no hiding from the fact that overall it was a poor performance.

'Apart from a few individuals there seems a total lack of confidence and belief throughout the team. They lacked spark and chances were few and far between.

'As a result the performance left a lot to be desired and it's very frustrating.''

'We need to try and rebuild their confidence, not knock it down.

'I know the result doesn't make great reading, but I know we have the ability to bounce back.''

Swansea return to League action this Saturday as they travel to League One new-comers Leyton Orient.
