No Europa League Football For Swansea City

Swansea City won't be playing in the Europa League next season despite their excellent disciplinary record.

The Swans had been tipped for a place in the UEFA competition during the season - thanks to the continuous fair play - a lack of fouls and cards that sees them sit top of the Premier League rankings.

However, due to the Premier League sitting low in 13th in the overall rankings, the Swans won't get a chance to play European football.

Some fans would say that is a good thing - no extra distraction to possibly hinder their League progress, while others would have loved to travel across Europe to see their team play.

Swansea City won't be too disappointed though, they'll be delighted to secure their status in one of the best Leagues in the world!
