Rodgers: We Deserved 3 Points At Bolton
Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers thought his side deserved the three points at Bolton Wanderers.
His team dominated at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday afternoon for long periods, creating plenty of chances throughout, but they couldn't find a winner.
Chris Eagles cancelled out Scott Sinclair's 6th minute opener in a busy early spell in the first half.
Scott Sinclair scored by far his best goal of the season. He cut in from the left touchline before firing in an unstoppable shot into the top right corner of the net. The lead didn't last long though as Petrov picked out the unmarked Chris Eagles to equalise from around 10 yards.
The Swans looked the more likely to find a winner in the second half, as Bolton struggled to get into the game until the final 10 minutes.
Sigurdsson and Graham had the visitor's best chances but they couldn't do enough to get maximum points, but they sit comfortably in 11th place with 43 points.
'We certainly deserved the three points. It was a terrific game.
'Of course there's a wee bit of tension around, but I thought we were excellent and we created enough chances to win the game.
'We scored a very good goal to go in front early on, but conceded a disappointing goal from our perspective. But the reaction to that was outstanding.
'I thought the players showed no fear, they kept pushing forward, being creative and, on another day with a little bit more luck, we might have had three or four goals.'
