Rodgers: More Players Will Be Attracted To Join Us

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers says more players will be attracted to join the club - thanks to their confident style of football.

The Swans have been praised by pundits, opposition players and managers all season for their attractive passing football - which Rodgers believes will attract more quality players at the Liberty Stadium.

"We are an attraction now and if you look at the types of players who are being linked they are maybe young players who have not quite fulfilled their potential,"

"Swansea, because of how I work and because of how we work as a club, will be seen as a club to come and kick-start your career or add a big value to your price.

"People will look at the likes of Luke Moore, Wayne Routledge and Scott Sinclair and see it`s a wonderful spring board to kick on.

"Because of how we play it`s a wonderful attraction but unfortunately not everyone can come here."

Rodgers' claims above were backed by Ado Den Haag midfielder Jens Toornstra, who said he'd 'take the chance' to join Swansea City if it became available.

The Swansea manager also said that his side are still feeling confident despite losing their last three games.

"The Premier League is a tough school and that`s what we are all learning. We have had three difficult games, and, unfortunately, we have come up short in them. That`s the reality of it.

"The performance against Newcastle gives me great hope because to play how we did shows the confidence and precision in our game.

"You don`t make the number of passes we did, don`t open them up and have as many efforts on goal as we did, if you`re not confident.

"A bit of quality has undone us which was disappointing.

"We`ve had some great results before the run of defeats so we won`t get too down about it.

Luke Moore?????? Quality??????? Am I missing something? The guy is absloute rubbish. Rodgers needs to shape up and stop taking all the plaudits. We are absoulte crap at the moment--much too defensive minded.

An interesting interview after the QPR game showed Rodgers in shock--I'm wondering if he was believing all the hype from the Media. Right now is when we find if he is a good manager or not
