'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Toornstra Would Take 'Chance' To Join Swansea City

Swansea City midfield target Jens Toornstra says he would take the chance to join the club if they are interested in signing him.

Vital Swansea reported back in August 2011 that the Swans were interested in the Ado Den Haag player.

Voetbal International have reported that Brendan Rodgers and chief scout David Leadbeater recently visited Den Haag to watch Toornstra and his team-mate Christian Kum in action. Apparently, the two players are Summer targets for the Swans.

Toornstra seems open to a move to the Liberty Stadium due to Swansea's attractive style of play, he told NUSport:

'If Swansea are (interested), then I would take that chance. It's a nice club and they play Dutch football.'

Centre back Kum, Den Haag's captain, is out of contract in the summer and has previously turned down a new deal at the club as well as an offer from NEC Nijmegen.
