Vorm: We Have Best Manager In Premier League

Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm says Brendan Rodgers is the best manager in the Premier League.

The Dutch shot stopper believes the Irishman should be named manager of the year for what he has achieved this season at Swansea City.

The Swans could realistically finish in the top 10 this year, and a lot of that is down to Brendan Rodgers and his training methods, which Vorm has complimented.

"For me, we play some of the best football in the league and I think Brendan Rodgers is the manager of the year.

"People don`t see our training, but it is very good. We work hard and transfer that onto the pitch. We have a lot of confidence and we are not afraid of anybody.

"We have shown that throughout the season and it`s a very big compliment to the manager."

Vorm also says that speculation surrounding his future is to be expected after doing so well at the club so far:

"It`s natural. Spurs are a club who want to play good football. Brendan Rodgers is the best manager in the Premier League and he has shown how you can play, even with a smaller club.

"I hope he stays. He has signed a new deal until 2015 and he is very important to us."
