Juventus Also Interested In Signing Sigurdsson?

Wales Online are today reporting that Italian side Juventus are also interested in signing Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The Swans have risen up the Premier League table ever since the Hoffenheim midfielder arrived on loan this year.

The youngster has added an extra attacking dimension to Rodgers' squad, and has scored 5 goals helping us get away wins at Wigan Athletic and Fulham - helping our form on the road.

Sigurdsson has expressed his desire to play regular first team football, and he doesn't want to return to Germany if he's still sitting on the bench.

However, Hoffenheim aren't willing to discuss the player's future until he returns at the end of the season.

Hoffenheim boss Markus Babbel recently said:

"He (Sigurdsson) is still under contract with Hoffenheim and I expect to see him back here in the summer."

Hoffenheim general manager Ernst Tanner also said:

Someone would have to come to us and also get an agreement with the player if there was to be any interest at all - but to me there is absolutely no offer there,"

Juventus have also been linked with an interest in Sigurdsson, but Hoffenheim have had a bad experience with the Italian side before. Tanner added:

"Juve wanted a player of ours once before, but they didn`t behave particularly well."
