'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Caulker Would Be Happy To Extend Swansea Stay

Swansea City's on loan defender Steven Caulker says he'd be happy to return to the club as he 'loves it' at the Liberty Stadium.

The young Tottenham Hotspur centre back says he just wants to play football and he knows he's guaranteed that with the Swans.

Caulker, aged just 19, has been very impressive this season, playing along side Ashley Williams - considering his lack of first team experience.

While it would be extremely difficult to tempt Spurs to sell such a promising young player, the Swans could see him return on loan if the player gets his wishes.

Caulker said:

'I'm loving it here,'

'I've been here for nearly eight months and what I have learned in that time is frightening.

'My aim for next season is simple. I just want to play football. Where that will be remains to be seen.

'I will have to sit down in the summer and talk over my options with Tottenham.

'However, if I had the chance to come back, I would be more than happy.'
