Swansea City Welcome Back Vorm

Swansea City expect Michel Vorm to return to action on Saturday following his absence at Stoke last Sunday.

The Dutch goalkeeper was forced to miss last weekend's game at Stoke City plus the possibility of serving his country Holland against England in Wednesday's friendly match due to a virus.

Rodgers confirmed that Vorm is back in training:

'He is back in training, there has been a virus that has swept around a few of the players but Michel has been back in training and it's great to see him back in again,'

'Michel has been brilliant this season, he is a great guy, a top performer at this level.

'I really enjoy working with him, he is in love with his football and you can see that in his performance level and focus in games.

'It was difficult for Gerhard Tremmel to come in last week and most of what he had to deal with he dealt with well, but in Michel Vorm you have one of the best performers in the Premier League so it's good to have him back.'

Gerhard Tremmel replaced him at Stoke City, conceding 2 goals in the 2-0 defeat. There was much attention on him for his part during the second goal, which he struggled to keep out Crouch's goal, heading in from a long throw in.
