McEachran: You've Not Seen The Best of Me Yet

McEachran: You've Not Seen The Best of Me Yet

Swansea City's on loan midfielder Josh McEachran tells fans that they haven't seen the best of him yet.

The Chelsea youngster vows to show his true potential after he made his full home debut in the 3-2 defeat against Norwich City ten days ago.

Some fans were critical of his performance, saying they missed Joe Allen's influence in midfield.

McEachran says it was his first full game in a few months and he's still getting up to speed with the rest of the team:

'It's good to get my first start in the league, now hopefully I can go on,'

'Norwich was only my second 90 minutes in two or three months.

'It was hard to get into it because my fitness is not 100 per cent but I thought I did okay.

'The training intensity is really good at Swansea so I hope to get fit through that, then in a few more matches I'll be up to speed.'

'It's unfortunate we lost against Norwich. I thought we played well in some parts of the game so it's disappointing,'

'I thought the team did well and I thought I did well.

'But we have to forget about that now and focus on the next game.'

I've been following Josh since he was 15 he needs to work on his game off the ball. He is too laid back at times and has a tendancy sometimes to let games go by, I want to see him kick a ball in anger and demand more of the ball.

Don't know if he will get that many opportunities to get up to speed in this Swansea team... He needs to improve his defensive game to get into the team.. I am sure he will improve and impress, given time.
