Sigurdsson Earns Call-Up To Iceland Squad

Swansea City's on loan midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has earned a call-up to the Iceland squad.

The Hoffenheim player, who has also been linked with a future move to Hanburg, has made a big impact since joining the Swans this year.

His performances for the Swans have attracted Iceland boss Lars Lagerbäck to include him in the squad to face Montenegro in a friendly match on February 29th.

Goalkeeper Michel Vorm has also been called up to the Holland squad for the friendly against England on the same day.
